Merry Belated Christmas!

After suffering from fever twice in 10 days (luckily excluding christmas & eve), I've finally started feeling little better.
So excuse me for the belated greetings.

Today, I'd love to introduce a beautiful Christmas film, It's A Wonderful Life.
This black and white film is directed by Frank Capra in 1946.
Its classic and vintage, still fresh.
The story is about a man who's about commit a suicide.
Someone tries to tell him how wonderful his life is and how much he means to his friends and family. Who? You'll see.

If you haven't watched it before, please do. Its very beautiful.
You wouldn't regret.

Merry Christmas again and 2011 is just a few steps away.

10日で２回も熱がでてしまいました (クリスマスとイブは大丈夫でした)が、
やっと少し元気になってきました。
というわけで、ちょっとクリスマスのメッセージが遅くなってしまいました。

今日は素敵なクリスマス映画It's A Wonderful Lifeを紹介したいと思います。
このモノクロの映画は1946年のフランクコッポラ監督作品です。
とても古くてビンテージの領域ですが、今でも新鮮。
ストーリは、もう少しで川に身を投げようとしている男の人のお話です。
そんな時、誰かが彼の人生がどんなに素晴らしく、周りの友達や家族にとってどんなに大切か、そんなことを教えようとやってきます。
それが誰かは秘密ですが。

まだ観たことがない方は是非観てみて下さい。とても美しい映画です。
後悔はしないはず。

メリークリスマス！2011年もすぐそこです。

Huge Kelly

Do you know how it feels like to be inside the Hermes Kelly bag?
I know.
There is a huge Kelly bag as high as 4 metre in Selfridges.
'Kellydoscope' is made of the same materials from the actual bag.
You can sit inside and watch a minute movie.
In the movie、 a girl takes you (in the Kelly bag) to the little city adventure.
You even feel bounce as the girl moves!

Well, it was little embarrassing to queue on my own, I have to admit.
But, it was worth it!

Also, there was a football table with Babies instead of football players
which you can actually play with!

エルメスのケリーバッグの中に入ったらどんな気分？
体験してきました。
Selfridgesというデパートの中に４メートルの大きなケリーバックが登場。
'Kellydoscope'はなんと実際のバッグと同じ素材で作られているそうです。
中に座って１分間の映像を見ることができます。
映像では女の子が街中に連れ出してくれます。
しかも女の子の動きに合わせて揺れるんです！

１人で並ぶのはちょっと恥ずかしかったですが、、
その価値はありました！

あとは実際に遊べるフットボールテーブルがあって（よくバーにあるような）
サッカー選手が何とバービー人形でした！

Still animal prints!

This down jacket is from last year.
I feel more comfortable in it than I did in Tokyo.
Is it because I'm in London or just the matter of time, trend?
And its not new anymore but animal prints still rock.

去年買ったダウンです。
東京で着てた時より、今の方がしっくりくる。

The night like a dream, The Royal Ballet!

I finally made it to the Royal Ballet last night.
In one word, it was amazing. What more I can say?
The opera house was such an gorgeous place.
The programme was a combination of 4 short stories;
from the classical one to the contemporary one.
The dance was so smooth and every single movement was elegant.
I especially loved how two (or more) people dance together.
It was so beautiful.
The orchestra played beautiful music.
The costumes, stage settings and lightings were again, amazing.
Oh I wish I could dance like them!
I'll definitely come back again, hopefully for Swan Lake?
Or maybe The Royal Opera next time.

ロイヤルバレエを観てきました。
それは素晴らしかったです。
オペラハウスは本当に豪華。
プログラムは４つの短いストーリーのコンビネーションで、
クラッシックなものから、コンテンポラリーのストーリーまで色々。
踊りはすごく滑らかで何一つとっても本当に優雅。
特に二人(あるいはそれ以上)の人が一緒に踊る姿は本当に美しい！
そしてオーケストラの美しい音楽。
衣装、ステージセット、照明も、とても素敵でした。
あんな風に踊れたらいいな！なんて思ったり。
また観に行こうと思います。できれば白鳥の湖？
オペラもいいかも。

Flowers, people and music!

Some pictures from Columbia Road Flower Market.
Flower market is only open on Sunday 8am-2pm.
Despite of showering climate, the market was fully packed with flowers
and people!
There are also pretty antiques, vintages, gardening stuffs,
galleries and cafes along the road.

Street musicians were bringing cheerful atmosphere, too!

コロンビアロード フラワーマーケットに行ってきました。
日曜日の朝８時から午後２時まで毎週やってます。
小雨だったにもかかわらず、マーケットはたくさんのお花
そして人でいっぱいでした！
道沿いにはかわいいアンティークのお店や古着屋さん、ガーデニング用品店、
ギャラリーとちょっとしたカフェも。

ストリートミュージシャンもいました！

Colour of Autumn

I've been looking for the right short boots for ages.
Then I found them.

They look

1. very chic with black&grey tights,
- I'm sure I looked weird when I was trying to take this picture in Hyde Park.

2. fantastic with flower printed skirt × pink socks × camel coat,
- I believe they made the style works out, especially in terms of colour.

3. quite nice and even unique they are wet.
- London weather gave me an idea. I probably paint them in this rain drop style
with sky blue someday.

Candle Night

A Beautiful Rose Candle from my sweet friends back in Tokyo.
It looks bright in the blue light from the window.

I love the amazing mixture of colours; shining rose pink and deep sky blue.
It's like my favourite moment in a day, a beautiful sunset.

It's almost 7pm in wet and cold London.
The light grey sky is getting darker.

Hope tomorrow will be a beautiful day for all of you!

このきらきらと光るローズピンクと深いスカイブルーの組み合わせに１人うっとり。
１日の中で私が１番好きな瞬間、日が沈む時の綺麗な空の色のようです。

寒くて雨模様のロンドンは夜７時。
明るいグレーの曇り空が暗くなってきました。

Saatchi Gallery

London is always busy.
Something's always going on somewhere in here.
If you wake up early on Sunday morning, you can go to Columbia Road
flower market famous in Shoreditch.
Well, that's my plan for tomorrow.

Anyways, I was street surfing London as always.
My destination of the day was Chelsea, where you can find high-end to
high street clothes.
Then I found Saaatchi Gallery.
How can I just skip it? No, you can't.

Saatchi Gallery is absolutely one of my best.
Current exhibition, NEW SPEAK: BRITISH ART NOW was amazing.
I'd like to call it sophisticated yet street.

Here is one of my favourite piece, 20:50 by Richard Wilson.
The black floor is coated with oil so that it reflects everything like a mirror.
I felt like I was floating in the air in kind of a futuristic film.
Where am I? What is this space? What is real and what it not?

By the way, a boy holding red balloons welcomed me over my head
at the entrance.
It's Sentient Orbs by littlewhitehead. It's my favourite, too.

One of the thing I like about the art works is they make me see/face
what I don't see/try not to face usually, physically and mentally.

So, now I'm off to sleep for tomorrow's flower market!

ロンドンは忙しい街です。
いつも何かがどこかで起こってる。
例えば、日曜の朝早く起きれたら、Shoreditchのコロンビア
フラワーマーケットに行ってみたり、ね。
というのは私の明日のプランだったりするんですが。

それはさておき、今日もいつものようにロンドン街サーフィンしてきました。
今日の目的地はChelseaという高級ブランドからファストファッションまで
色んなお店があるところです。
と歩いていたら、Saatchi Galleryがあったのです。
これは見逃せないでしょう。ということで。

Saatchi Galleryは間違いなくマイベストにランクイン。
今展示されているNEW SPEAK: BRITSH ART NOWは
本当に素晴らしかったです。
洗練されているのにストリート感があるというか。

これは、Richard Wilsonによる20:50という作品で
私のお気に入りです。
黒い床にオイルが塗られていて鏡のように全てを反映しています。
フューチャリスティックな映画のワンシーンの中に自分がいて
宙に浮いている気分になりました。
ここはどこ？ここは何？何が本当でなにが偽物？

ところで、入り口では風船を持った少年がお出迎えしてくれました。
littlewhiteheadのSentient Orbsという作品。これも好きです。

アートは普段自分が気付かなったり、見ようとしなかったことに
対面させてくれたり気付かせてくれたりするのが好きです。
フィジカル的にも、メンタル的にも。

そんなところで今日はフラワーマーケットに行くために寝ることにします。

Scarfs!

One of the things I like about London is lovely antique/vintage shops.
I especially love vintage scarfs.

They have beautiful colours, classical patterns such as animals, buildings, maps and so on.
Plus you can enjoy them by wearing them in different ways around your neck
or you even can tie up them as a bag candy!

Today, I met this horse pattern scarf in Camden Lock Market.
It wasn't a love at first sight, which is unusual for me.
When I buy something, I usually feel like 'I NEED TO BUY IT!'
once I found something I really like.

Anyways, I was thinking of others at Berty & Gerty when a sales woman suggested this scurf to me.
At first, I thought it might be little sombre
because I was looking for bright one.
It turned out she was right after I tried others.
The thing is it looks little sombre itself but it shines
when you wear it on my camel coat!
Combinations!
This is what I love about fashion- styling gives clothes infinity.

ロンドンにはかわいい古着屋さんがいっぱいあります。
私は特にスカーフが好きなんです。

色が綺麗だし、動物、建物、地図などクラッシックな柄など本当に素敵です。
しかも色んな使い方ができるんですよね。首に巻く方法だけでも色々あるし、
バックに結んでもかわいいし！

今日はCamden Lock Marketでこの馬モチーフのスカーフに出会いました。
私にしてはめずらしく、見た瞬間にコレっていう感じではなかったのですが。
いつもだと、何か買うときは見た瞬間に’コレは買わないと！'と思うんです。

それはそうと、Berty& Gertyというお店で店員さんにコレを薦められた時、
他のスカーフを見ていました。
その時は明るい色のを探していたので、これはちょっと地味かな、と。
でも色々試したあげく、店員さんが正しかったということが分かりました。
つまり、このスカーフはそれだけだとちょっと地味な感じがするんだけど、
私の着てたキャメルのコートと合わせるとパッと明るく見えるんです。
組み合わせ次第！
ファッションってこれが一番楽しい。スタイリング次第で色々遊べる。

P.S.私の2010秋冬のお薦めカラーはキャメルです！

So, I Study.

So, my classes start tomorrow!
Actually I had them last week but they were like orientation.

Last week, our tutor aka a course director asked us to keep research file.
You just put the things whatever keeps your attention,
do some research about them and add comments etc.
So, basically they're going to give us a big theme and we go further.

When I heard of it, I thought it's good idea to keep record of my favourite places or things in London just like this.
It could be about an exhibition, a boutique, a cafe, anything.
Then I write down what it is like, why I like it, also occasionally do some research about an artist or a designer etc.

Just like this!

Well, I might be able to make it like a magazine using InDesign.
(I need to learn how to use it anyways.)
Strangely I'm kind of analog person sometimes... hmm but should I try...?
I'll think about it later, yes, later.

明日からいよいよ授業です。
といっても先週から始まっていて、オリエンテーションっていう感じでした。

先週コースディレクターからリサーチファイルを作るように話がありました。
興味を持ったものを貼付けて、気になることをリサーチして、
コメントをつけて、などなど。
つまりはテーマを与えられて、その先は自分で色々調べてみるってことです。

その話を聞いたときに、同じようにロンドンで自分の好きな場所とかものとか
記録をつけたら面白いかなと思いました。
ギャラリーでもいいし、ブティックやカフェでも何でも。
どんなものや場所か、どうして好きなのか、時にはそのアーティストだったり
デザイナーのことを調べたり。

こんな感じでやってます！

うーん、本当はInDesignを使って雑誌みたいにするのもいいかと思ったり。
（その前に使い方勉強しないといけないけど！）
でもアナログな作業が好きだったりもして。いや、でもトライしてみるべき？
後で考えることにしましょう。うん、そうしよう。

London here I come!

Finally I'm sitting in my room in London.
And I've just realized how lovely London is.
So, I'm going to go extremely touristic!

It's about Tower Bridge and the weather.

One day, I went to see Tower Bridge.
It is a bascule bridge originally built in 1876 in Londoner's enormous need of a new crossing for the Thames.
Its shape today is dramatically different from the original
but still some structures remains.
Also, it's still working powered by hydraulic power, using oil and electricity.
Surprisingly it was originally powered by water pressure and it only took
about a minute to bump up the bridge!

Anyway, I started walking toward the bridge from London Bridge around 1pm.
You can see the sky was all grey then on the photo above.
I walked along the Thames, having quick lunch and little window shopping
on the way.
And the sky was getting darker and darker.

By the time I've come to 5 minutes away from the bridge around 2pm,
the sky was...


...like this.

Shortly after I started noticing small rain drops on my face,
the heavy rain hit the city!

I was lucky to be around the city hall at the time and decided to wait and see what'd happen under the roof.
Every tourist did the same because no one could walk in such hard rain!

Then the rain suddenly gone and I even could see the sky blue...
and it was before 2.30pm!


What a typical of London!

ようやくロンドンに自分の部屋がみつかって、落ち着きました。
改めてロンドンって素敵な街だなと。
というわけで、今日は完全に観光モードでいきます！

タワーブリッジとお天気のこと。

先日タワーブリッジを観に行きました。
ロンドン経済の発展に伴いテムズ川に新たしい橋が必要になり、
1976年に建てられたはね橋です。
当時とは大分違う形にはなってしまっているものの、まだ一部残っています。
また、当時から変わらず圧力式のパワーで動いているのですが、
油と電気でエネルギーを作り出しているそうです。
びっくりするのは、当時は水の圧力で動かしていたのですが、
橋を上げるのに１分しかかからなかったようです。

というわけで、私は１時頃ロンドンブリッジからタワーブリッジ向かって
歩き出しました。
一番上の写真、空がグレーがかってますよね。
さくっとお昼を食べてちょこっとウィンドウショッピングもしながら
テムズ川沿いに。
その間、空はみるみる暗く。

２時頃にタワーブリッジまであと５分というところで空はものすごく暗くなり、

こんな感じ。

そして、ぽつっと顔に雨粒かなと思っているうちに豪雨発生！

ラッキーなことにシティーホールの側にいたので、
どうなることか屋根の下で見守ることに。
他の観光客もみんな、同じようにしていました。全く歩ける感じじゃなく。

そうこうしていたらあっと言う間に雨が止んで青空さえ...
まだ2時半にもならない頃。

Time to pack!

It's time to start packing!

As I only left 8 days until take-off, I've finally bought a suit case today.
It's BEAUTIFUL WINE RED and brad new by trio×innovator.
Trio is a Japanese luggage brand and innovator is a Swedish furniture Brand.
I liked the colour and the front design inspired by Swedish National Flag.

By the way, there is a elegant luggage brand from London
which I couldn't afford this time.
GLOBE-TROTTER.
Their classy elegant hand made luxury luggage have attracted people
all over the world for 100 years!
I fell in love with the blue one called cruise once I saw it in Omotesando.
One of their uniqueness is the material they use for luggage - VULCAN FIBER.
It is special fiber coated paper which is light weight but tough and can have
wide range of colours.
Go check the website if you're interested in.
I'm sure you'll fall in love with them!

Speaking of luggage, has anyone ever watched the movie,
the Darjeeling Limited?
The story is heartwarming, the music is nice and styling is awesome
especially bothers' luggage by Luis Vuitton.
I really like that!

いよいよ荷造りタイムです！

出発まであと８日というこで、スーツケースを買いました。
色はキレイなワインレッド。
日本のスーツケースメーカのtrioとスウェーデンの家具ブランドinnovatorの
コラボ商品です。
色と、スウェーデンの国旗をイメージしたデザインが気に入って買いました。

ところで、今回買えなかったのですが、
本当に素敵なロンドンのメーカーをご紹介します。
その名もGLOBE-TROTTER。
クラッシックでエレガントなハンドメイドの高級スーツケースは
100年余りも世界中の人を夢中にしてきました。
そして私も...表参道でクルーズいう名のブルーのケースを見た瞬間に、
虜になりました！
このケースのひとつの特徴は使用されているバルカンファイバーという素材。
これは特殊なコーティング加工されている紙なのですが、軽いけど丈夫で、
しかもキレイな色が出るのです。

欲しくなっちゃうはず！

スーツケースと言えば、映画、ダージリン急行を観た方はいませんか？
音楽もいいし、ストーリーも暖かいし、ファッション、
特にルイヴィトンのスーツケースは最高でした。

My Creation pt.1 - a macbook case

So, now I can show you what I made.
As I mentioned before, I couldn't find a stylish macbook case but a stylish fabric - British Liberty Fabric.
Based on it I picked up other fabrics - theme is the Beach!
Can you see sand, sky, ocean, waves, sun?

What I did was designing, creating pattern, cutting out fabrics
and some of sawing.
Honestly, I was intended to saw every single line but technically I couldn't!
Thank you mum for helping me out!

The hardest part was pattern making.
Sponge I used for macbook protection was pretty tricky!
Its thickness can be changed and still you need calculate...
it seriously confused me!
I'm glad that I didn't give up when my brain was stuck middle of nowhere.

Anyways, I'm now ready to bring my macbook with me to UK!

ようやく完成しました！
前に書いていたように、いいMacBookのケースが見つからないうちに素敵なイギリスのリバティー生地に出会ったのです。
その生地にあわせてビーチをテーマに他の生地を選びました！
砂、空、海、波、太陽が見えますか？

私は何をしたかというと、デザインと型紙作り＆裁断とちょっと縫いました。
実は、全部自分で縫うつもりだったのに、難易度が高くてできませんでした。
お手伝いしてくれた母に感謝！

ところで、何が難しかったかっていうと、型紙作りでした。
MacBookの保護用にスポンジを使うことにしたんですが、
これがとても！トリッキーでした。
つまり、厚みがいかようにも変わるんだけれども、ある程度計算する必要がある訳で...もう混乱！
でも頭がもう回らないって時に諦めなくてよかった。

いずれにせよ、私は無事にイギリスにMacBookを持って行けそうです！

Meat Free Monday!

Ok, it might not be about fashion as you expect but as a life style.
Fashion is not only what you wear, it's about your attitude and experience, too.

About a year and half ago, I decided avoid using plastic bags when you go to stores as much as possible.

A year ago, I started using my cutlery whenever I eat lunch at my office.

The reason is simple- I wanted to do something to environmentally friendly in daily life.
Have you ever thought of how excess to use small plastic bags each time you only buy chocolate bars?
Plastic bags is not returning to the earth. There are bunch of trees cut down for using chopsticks which are used only one time and trashed! It's just excess.

This summer, I decided take a new action- Meat Free Monday.
It' a very simple idea- having a day off from meat diet at least in a week to make climate change slower.
Meat Free Monday is an environmental campaign by Paul, Stella and Mary McCartney to raise awareness the impact of meat consumption on climate change. According to them, livestock production is responsible for more climate change GHG emissions globally than transportation. Did you know that? Me-absolutely no. Of course it's great for your health, too. To find out more, please go to the campaign website.

I've known this campaign for years because I'm a big fan of Stella McCartney and haven't joined until this summer.
Why I started this now?
Because it is too much HOT in Tokyo and I thought something absolutely must be wrong.

I probably won't stop eat meat completely because I like meat but wanted to do something what I can do for the environment.

Each action might be a small thing but I believe it makes differences.

今日はいわゆるファッションのことではなくて、ライフスタイルのことについてです。

１年半前に、お店でビニール袋をもらうのをできるだけやめようと決めました。

１年前からは、会社でお昼を食べるときに自分のカトラリーを使うことにしました。

理由は簡単で、日々の生活の中で何か環境にやさしいことをしたいと思ったのです。
チョコレート買うだけでもらう小さいビニール袋って過剰だなって思ったことありませんか？
ビニール袋は自然に帰らないし、一回使ったら捨てられてしまう割り箸の為に木が伐採されていたり。
何だか過剰なことが多いと思うのです。

さて今年の夏、新しい行動を起こそうと思い、ミートフリーマンデーを始めました。
考え方はとてもシンプルで、週に一回でもお肉を食べない日を作って、気候の変化を緩やかにしようというもの。
ポールマッカートニーとその娘のステラ、メアリーによる環境運動で、お肉の消費がいかに気候の変化にインパクトを与えているかということへの意識を高めることを目的としています。彼らによると、食肉消費によって発生する地球温暖化を引き起こすようなガスの量は交通によって排出されるガスの量より多いそうです。知っていましたか？私はー全く知りませんでした。また、これはもちろん健康にもすごく良いですよね。詳しくは、キャンペーンサイトでご覧下さい。

ところで、私はステラマッカートニーが大好きなので、このことはずっと知っていたんですが、始めようと思っていませんでした。
では、どうして今始めたのか？
それは、今年の東京は本当に暑すぎるから。これは絶対に何かがおかしい！と思ったわけです。

とはいえ、私はお肉も好きなので完全にやめることはないと思います。でも、できることをやろうと思いました。

ひとつひとつは小さいことだけど、それでも少しは違ってくるはずと思います。

Have a guess!

Next week is going to be a production week for me.
I'm planning on making 2 things.

First- a dress.

One ordinary day, I happened to find a fine printed fabric from France at my mum's atelier.
Then the brilliant idea came up to my mind. Let's make a mini dress!
I know what it is going to be look like. I'll update you once I finished the work!
Can't wait to wear it at my friend's wedding reception!

Second- have a guess!

Look at the picture above.
I'm going to make something with these fabric and a zip. Plus, sponge.
It is something I've been looking for long to bring something to London.
Since I couldn't find the perfect one, I decided to make it for myself.

Let's talk about this unique fabric called Liberty Fabric from London.
Liberty is famous for its iconic Liberty Fabrics and furnishings and stuff.
It was established in 1875 by Arthur Liberty who believed in he could change the look of home and fashion - of course in a better way. They were originally selling ornaments, fabric and art products from Japan and East.
By 1885, iconic Liberty fabric were used for both clothing and furnishing.
etc, etc.
Still now, Liberty where the latest fashion and classic co-exist is the one of the most finest fabric company in the world and more!

So, I'm going to make something classic but latest!

来週は、制作ウィーク！
二つほど、作ろうと思っているものがあるんです。

まずは、ドレス。

とある日、母のアトリエにてフランス製の綺麗なプリントの生地を発見。
そこで素晴らしいアイデアが湧いたわけです。ミニドレスを作ろう！
どんな風にするかも決めました。できたらご紹介しますね。
来週末、友人の結婚パーティーで着るのが楽しみです！

そして...さて何でしょう？

写真を見てみてください。
この生地と、ジッパーで何かを作ろうとしている訳です。あと、スポンジも。
とあるものをロンドンに持って行く為に、ずっと探してたものなのです。
なかなか気に入るものが見つからなくて、作ることにしました。

このリバティー生地とよばれるロンドンの生地についてちょっとだけ。
リバティーはこのユニークな柄の生地や家具などで有名な会社。
1875年にオーサー リバティー氏によって、家やファッションを変えてみせるという理念のもとに設立されました。もちろん、良い意味で！
当時は、装飾品や生地、日本などからの芸術品を扱っていたそうです。
1885年までには、この特徴的な生地を使って洋服や家具なども作り始めました。
などなど。などなど。
クラッシックと最新トレンドの共存するリバティーは世界でも
有数の生地メーカーであり、それ以上のものなのです！

というわけで、私はクラッシックだけど最新のものを作ろうとしています！

完成品はまたお見せしますね。

A beautiful flower arrangement!

I know it's late... but... I'd like to thank all of you who came along
my farewell party the other day!
Also, thank all of you who sent me warm messages. It means a lot to me.

I've got very very nice gifts such as a message cards, a pretty room wear etc.
Today, I'd like to pick up one of those special gifts.

It's really lovely flowers my greatest friend, Natty arranged for me!!
It's 100 % original with a perfect composition and colours. It smelled nice, too.
I especially liked the white flower...oh I don't remember the name...
I'd never seen before.

Nothing's more special than the things someone made only for you!

The next blog coming up soon would be about another handcrafted special gift from other great friend!

本当にありがとうございました！
そして、暖かいメッセージをくれた皆様もありがとうございました！
すごくうれしかったです。

うれしいことに、私は素敵なメッセージやルームウェアを頂いたわけですが、
今日はそんな中でも特別な、手作りのプレゼントをご紹介しようと思います。

この本当に素敵なお花は、私が大好きなNattyがアレンジしてくれたんです！
色といい、構成といい１００％オリジナル、完璧です。いい香りも。
名前をちょっと忘れてしまったのですが、白いお花、初めて見ましたが、
すごく気に入りました。

自分だけの為の手作りって、それ以上うれしいものはないですね！

次回も、また別の友達手作りのプレゼントのことをお話しようと思います。

今日は、私のお部屋の夏を紹介します。

Say No to bugs and excess san tan. Say Yes to moisture.

They love me. They love my blood.

It wasn't unusual to be bitten by 5 mosquitos in one night.

But this cream changes the situation!

I happened to meet this when I was looking for an all-in-one sunscreen and body cream.

At first, I kind of doubt it because an all-in-one sunscreen, body cream

PLUS anti-bug sounds impossible.

The biggest reason I bought it is it smells nice like a lemon glass not a typical sunscreen smell.

I really didn't expect much about anti-bug part of it.

At the night I applied it on my skin before I went sleep.

It worked!

No mosquitos came to me at that night.

Actually, I haven't been bitten since I started using this miracle cream!

One more thing is it's made of several organic oil so it's also good for your skin!

Bye bye mosquitos!

蚊に好かれます。本当に好かれます。

一晩に５回さされるなんて日常茶飯事。

でもこのクリームのお陰でそんな日常もかわりました！

このクリーム、たまたま日焼け止めになるボディークリームを探していたら出会ったんです。

はじめは日焼け止めにもなるし、ボディークリームにもなるのに、さらに虫よけ機能付きっていうのは、

さすがにあり得ないとちょっと疑ってかかりました。

でも、日焼け止めのあのにおいじゃなくて、レモングラスのいい香りがするのが気に入って買ってみたわけです。

で、寝る前につけてみると、

効いた！

全くその夜さされない。

実際、それ以来さされていないのです！

さらにこれ、オーガニックなオイルからできてるからお肌にも優しいという。

蚊にばいばーい！

Finally, the raining season has come to Tokyo!

My answer is ... WEAR IT!

My first flower arrangement for my mum

I love calla lilies for the simpleness and elegant forms.

The word calla actually comes from the Greek word which means beautiful.

I've been thinking of sending my mum an original flower bouquet

for a mother's day and her birthday.

Yes, I knew it.

Colour Calla lilies would be chic.

The thing is they were more than I'd expected.

Flowers and Plants a flower class offered me reminded me of

Henry Rousseau's Paintings. The colours, shapes, everything. Perfect!

All I did was organize and wrap up them!

Well, it's easy to say this but not easy to do this.

Every flowers and plants have unique shape and colour.

You can't just put them where you want them because they bend, twisted and etc..

You need to understand their natural beauty then organize a bouquet.

The nature comes first, not you!

Needles to say, my mum loved my piece.

Thank you odette Daikanyama for planning such unique flower classes.

After I handed the bouquet to my mum, I uncovered the wrappings

and placed the flowers in a glass vase.

They will be saying hello to my family at our entrance for a while.

カラーのシンプルで優雅な形が好き。

そんなカラーの語源は、ギリシャ語で美を意味するそう。

母の日と誕生日を兼ねて、手作りのブーケをあげたいなと。

うまくいきそうな気はしていたんだけど。

色のついたカラーはシックで素敵なブーケになるんじゃないかと。

でも、想像以上にきれいなカラーだった。

お花教室で用意してくれたお花はアンリ・ルソーの絵画のよう。

色と形と全てがパーフェクト！

私はそれを配置して、まとめるだけ！

でも実は、それが言うのは簡単、やってみると難しい。

お花や植物はひとつひとつ違う。

曲がっていたり、ねじれていたり、思うところにはきてくれない。

だから、そのものの美しさを生かしてまとめてみる。

自分じゃなくて、自然がまず第一。

言うまでもなく、母は気に入ってくれた様子。

素敵な教室を企画して下さった、odette代官山に感謝。

ブーケを渡した後は、ラッピングをはずしてガラスの花瓶に移して。

しばらくは、玄関でみんなに笑顔をふりまいてくれるはず。
