Merry Belated Christmas!

After suffering from fever twice in 10 days (luckily excluding christmas & eve), I've finally started feeling little better.
So excuse me for the belated greetings.

Today, I'd love to introduce a beautiful Christmas film, It's A Wonderful Life.
This black and white film is directed by Frank Capra in 1946.
Its classic and vintage, still fresh.
The story is about a man who's about commit a suicide.
Someone tries to tell him how wonderful his life is and how much he means to his friends and family. Who? You'll see.

If you haven't watched it before, please do. Its very beautiful.
You wouldn't regret.

Merry Christmas again and 2011 is just a few steps away.

10日で２回も熱がでてしまいました (クリスマスとイブは大丈夫でした)が、
やっと少し元気になってきました。
というわけで、ちょっとクリスマスのメッセージが遅くなってしまいました。

今日は素敵なクリスマス映画It's A Wonderful Lifeを紹介したいと思います。
このモノクロの映画は1946年のフランクコッポラ監督作品です。
とても古くてビンテージの領域ですが、今でも新鮮。
ストーリは、もう少しで川に身を投げようとしている男の人のお話です。
そんな時、誰かが彼の人生がどんなに素晴らしく、周りの友達や家族にとってどんなに大切か、そんなことを教えようとやってきます。
それが誰かは秘密ですが。

まだ観たことがない方は是非観てみて下さい。とても美しい映画です。
後悔はしないはず。

メリークリスマス！2011年もすぐそこです。

Candle Night

A Beautiful Rose Candle from my sweet friends back in Tokyo.
It looks bright in the blue light from the window.

I love the amazing mixture of colours; shining rose pink and deep sky blue.
It's like my favourite moment in a day, a beautiful sunset.

It's almost 7pm in wet and cold London.
The light grey sky is getting darker.

Hope tomorrow will be a beautiful day for all of you!

Dear friends who gave it to me,
You might noticed the candle in a strange shape.
Sorry, it happened as I brought it in my suit case..

東京の友達からのプレゼント、綺麗なローズのキャンドル。
窓からの青い光の中ですごく輝いて見えます。

このきらきらと光るローズピンクと深いスカイブルーの組み合わせに１人うっとり。
１日の中で私が１番好きな瞬間、日が沈む時の綺麗な空の色のようです。

寒くて雨模様のロンドンは夜７時。
明るいグレーの曇り空が暗くなってきました。

Moonwalking in the rain!

Finally, the raining season has come to Tokyo!

What would you do to enjoy Humid and Hot days like you're in a sauna?

You could buy a colourful umbrella, a new pair of rain shoes

or some technological fast dry shirts?

My answer is ... WEAR IT!

This bluish grey nail, Moonwalk by ADDICTION is named after

Michael Jackson's famous style.

Imagine MJ is moonwalking in the rain! Wouldn't be exciting?

This mysterious colour also reminds me of Hydrangea, the season's highlight.

Miss Little Spring, heading to the early summer.

One sunny saturday afternoon,

a wind brought me a little spring in my bag - sakura.

It says cherry blossom is ready to the early green summer

after the sweet pinkish flower season.

The color and the shape looked pretty on off-white pouch.

This pouch. I was lucky enough to get this limited gift

when I bought Balenciaga's perfume named Balenciaga Paris.

Talking about this perfume,

I'd say it smells like smoky gold is hidden in a deep forest.

For the first time you smell it, you'd be like "well, yeah, I guess its okay."

Then smell it again and again, you'll be addicted.

Its like something you've known for a long time but still mysterious somehow.

I like the bottle design especially the cap.

香りは深い森の中にスモーキーなゴールドが隠れているイメージ。

最初は、うーん、まあいいんじゃないかしら。くらいなのだけど、

何回かするうちに、虜になる。

ずっと知っているような気がするのにちょっとミステリアス。

Okay, I was supposed to find my friend's birthday present at BALS.

Once I smelled it, I couldn't resist!
