I love calla lilies for the simpleness and elegant forms.
The word calla actually comes from the Greek word which means beautiful.
I've been thinking of sending my mum an original flower bouquet
for a mother's day and her birthday.
Yes, I knew it.
Colour Calla lilies would be chic.
The thing is they were more than I'd expected.
Flowers and Plants a flower class offered me reminded me of
Henry Rousseau's Paintings. The colours, shapes, everything. Perfect!
All I did was organize and wrap up them!
Well, it's easy to say this but not easy to do this.
Every flowers and plants have unique shape and colour.
You can't just put them where you want them because they bend, twisted and etc..
You need to understand their natural beauty then organize a bouquet.
The nature comes first, not you!
Needles to say, my mum loved my piece.

After I handed the bouquet to my mum, I uncovered the wrappings
and placed the flowers in a glass vase.
They will be saying hello to my family at our entrance for a while.

そんなカラーの語源は、ギリシャ語で美を意味するそう。
母の日と誕生日を兼ねて、手作りのブーケをあげたいなと。
うまくいきそうな気はしていたんだけど。
色のついたカラーはシックで素敵なブーケになるんじゃないかと。
でも、想像以上にきれいなカラーだった。
お花教室で用意してくれたお花はアンリ・ルソーの絵画のよう。
色と形と全てがパーフェクト！
私はそれを配置して、まとめるだけ！
でも実は、それが言うのは簡単、やってみると難しい。
お花や植物はひとつひとつ違う。
曲がっていたり、ねじれていたり、思うところにはきてくれない。
だから、そのものの美しさを生かしてまとめてみる。
自分じゃなくて、自然がまず第一。
言うまでもなく、母は気に入ってくれた様子。
素敵な教室を企画して下さった、odette代官山に感謝。
ブーケを渡した後は、ラッピングをはずしてガラスの花瓶に移して。
しばらくは、玄関でみんなに笑顔をふりまいてくれるはず。
