Little Venice

What a lovely Sunday in London!
Beautiful sunshine, no wind, no rain and warm enough.
There was no way staying home so I went for a neighbour walk.
Little Venice is such a beautiful canal.
I even spent more than an hour just walking along.
Hope the sunshine's coming back again pretty soon.

日曜日のロンドンはとても良いお天気でした！
久々の太陽、風も雨もないし、そして少し暖かい。
じっとしていられず、ご近所にお散歩に出かけました。
Little Veniceはとても綺麗な運河です。
気が付けば１時間以上も河沿いを散策していました。
またすぐ晴れるといいな。

Dior Illustrated at Somerset House

How is it possible for those very simple lines to express so much beauty?
Rene Gruau is an illustrator who worked with Dior very closely.
He created lots of sensational Dior's advertising.
Oh my, his stroke is very strong yet airy. So feminine. Elegant.
Loved controversial (at the time) man's intimate bath robe image as well.
This exhibition is only until tomorrow.
I'm so glad I made it!

こんなにシンプルなラインで美しさって表現できるものなんですね。
Rene GruauはDiorのとても近くにいたイラストレーターです。
彼はセンセーショナルなDiorの広告をいくつも作っています。
すごく強いんだけど柔らかくて、フェミニンで、エレガントな筆使い。
当時、賛否両論を巻き起こした男性のバスローブのイラストも好きです。
この展覧会は明日までなんですが、
行って良かった！
もしもロンドンにいて明日少し時間がある人は、是非行ってください！
本当に、すごく良いです。

Happy New Year!

Sometime you need to treat yourself with things you love.
For me, scented candles are definitely one of them.
I've got a candle collection from PENHALIGONS as a lovely new year starter!

It comes with 4 beautifully scented candles in a bow-topped pretty box.
How lovely is that!?
I'm enjoying exotic Malabah as writing this now.
And, can't wait to try unusual black Samarkand with woody note at the bath.
Others are lily note one and citrus one.
Not only gorgeous scent, the candle light also makes me feel relaxed and fresh.

Its finally 2011 begun for all of my love!

たまには自分にご褒美って必要ですよね。
私の場合はいい香りのするキャンドルなど。
素敵な新年の始まりに、ペンハリゴンのキャンドルセットを購入。
(ウィンターセール最高!)
リボンの付いたかわいい箱に４つキャンドルが入ってます。
うっとりしちゃいますよね。
今、これを書きながらエキゾチックなMalabahを楽しみ中。
お風呂で珍しい黒いキャンドルを試してみるのも楽しみ。
ウッディーなSamarkand。
他には百合の香りとシトラスのキャンドル。
キャンドルって香りだけじゃなくて、光が柔らかいからリラックスして
フレッシュな気分になりますよね。

ついに2011年が始まりましたね。
